Getting started

What is RepoGo?

RepoGo is an iPhone app for working with your coding agents when you're away from your desk. It connects to your own Mac or Linux machine, where Claude Code and Codex already run, so you can start chats, follow the work as it happens, review changes, and push them, all from your phone.

How it fits together#

  • The host is a small background program on your computer. You install it with one command: npx @repogo/host. It runs your agents, reads your projects, and answers your phone.
  • The app pairs with the host by scanning a code. After that, your phone reaches your computer from anywhere, even when you're not on the same network.
  • The relay is RepoGo's server in the middle. It passes messages between your phone and your computer, but everything is end-to-end encrypted, so it can't read your chats or code and never stores them.

What you can do#

  • Chat with Claude Code and Codex in any project on your computer.
  • Pick up the Claude Code and Codex sessions you started at your desk. Their history shows up on your phone.
  • Browse your project's localhost in the app's browser.
  • Talk to your agents with voice, using your own OpenAI API key.
  • Get notifications and Live Activities while an agent works.

Private by design#

RepoGo needs no account. Your chats, code and project data live on your computer, not on RepoGo's servers. Read more in Privacy and security.
