Connect MCP servers

Give your agents tools from other services. Connect an MCP server to let an agent look up library documentation, work with issues, or inspect deployments from your chat.

Add a server#

1. Open a chat in your project.
2. Tap + in the chat prompt bar, then MCP Servers.
3. Tap + at the top of the MCP Servers sheet.
4. Choose a server from the list, or paste a server's URL and tap Continue.
5. If the server requires sign-in, follow the prompts to connect your account.
6. Back in MCP Servers, make sure the server's switch is on for this project.

Servers marked No setup don't require a sign-in. Servers marked Sign in use your account with that service.

Put it to work#

Return to your chat and ask the agent to use the service you connected. For example:

• Context7: “Look up the documentation for the library we're using before making this change.”
• Linear: “Find the issue about login failures and summarize what needs fixing.”
• Vercel: “Check the latest deployment and explain why it failed.”

The available tools depend on the server and the permissions you granted.

Choose servers for each project#

The Built In section contains RepoGo's own servers. They need no sign-in; switch one on to use it in the current project.

The Connected section lists servers you've added. Their switches apply only to the current project. Turning a server off here keeps its connection saved so you can use it in another project or enable it again later.

Long-press a connected server to rename or remove it.

Adding your own server#

Use the service's MCP server URL, rather than its normal website address. It must be reachable over public HTTPS. Servers available only on localhost or a private network cannot be added.
