Using RepoGo

Notifications, Live Activities and widgets

Notifications#

RepoGo notifies you when an agent needs you: Approval needed or Question for you. Tap the notification to open the chat. Notifications only say that your environment is waiting; the details stay on your computer until you open the app.

While RepoGo is open, a banner tells you when an agent finishes a turn in another chat. It shows the turn's recap, the short summary the agent ends a turn with, or the start of its reply when there's no recap. The voice agent reads it when you ask what an agent did. Chat cards in the drawer show the title and status without a summary dropdown.

Pull the banner down, or long-press it, to read the whole recap and reply to the agent from there, without leaving the screen you're on.

RepoGo also warns you when your computer's battery drops below 10% while it's unplugged.

Reminders#

Ask your agent to remind you: "remind me in an hour to check the deploy". At that time you get a Reminder notification, and tapping it opens the chat it came from. You can also ask the agent to list or cancel your reminders. Agents set one only when you ask.

Your computer keeps the reminders and sends them. If it's asleep at the time, the reminder arrives when it wakes, marked as late. Unlike other notifications, a reminder shows its text, so that text passes through Apple's notification service on its way to your phone.

Notifications are off until you turn them on in Settings → App Settings → Notifications; RepoGo never asks on its own. Once on, every paired environment can notify you, including ones you pair later. Turning them off tells each environment to forget your phone's notification token. If you declined iOS's prompt before, the toggle opens iOS Settings so you can allow them there.

Live Activities#

A Live Activity shows each environment on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: how many agents are working, how many need you, and how many finished. It can start even while RepoGo is closed.

A plugin can show its own Live Activity too, and chooses all of it: the title and the line under it, its symbol and color, a segment for each step or a bar, a timer counting up or down, and how it looks when it ends, such as a deploy going from build to live. Tap it to open the plugin's page. Its text passes through Apple's push service, as a notification's does.

Turn them off in Settings → App Settings → Notifications → Live Activities.

Widgets#

Add RepoGo widgets to your Home Screen:

  • Recent Chats
  • Agent Inbox
  • Pinned Projects
  • Environments
  • Agent Usage

The Start RepoGo Voice control works in Control Center and on the Lock Screen.

Siri and Shortcuts#

RepoGo's actions work in Siri and the Shortcuts app: Open Environment, Open Project, Send Prompt, Open Chat, Open Latest Chat, Open Link and Start Voice.

In Send Prompt, enter your prompt and choose a project. Expand the action and tap Configuration to search your ten most recent distinct chat setups. Each shows the agent and model, with thinking level, permission mode, plan mode, and fast mode when available. Selecting one applies those settings to the new chat; leaving it empty uses your saved defaults for the environment.
