Features
Environments widget
Last updated: 2026-09-08
Add Environments from the RepoGo widget gallery on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen. Open RepoGo and sign in first so the app can sync your environments to the widget.
The widget shows environments the app last knew to be online, including this iPhone or iPad. Offline and unrecognized environments are omitted. Each card has the environment's icon and name, an Online indicator below the name, a divider, and three action icons. Its spacing, rounded corners, and grid match the pinned workspaces widget.
The small size shows one environment, medium up to two, and large up to six. Cards fill the available height. Tap the main card to start a new chat with only that environment selected.
- Voice starts voice scoped to that environment.
- Chats opens the environment in the left drawer or tablet sidebar.
- Apps opens the existing workspace switcher sheet at its default medium height, starting on that environment. Your current workspace and open tab remain underneath. Picking a workspace switches the tabs surface; dismissing the sheet keeps the current selection. Your chat stays selected.
Names, icons, presence changes, and removed environments sync while RepoGo receives device updates. Widget presence is the last synced state, not an independent live connection check. Open RepoGo to refresh it; iOS controls when widget reloads appear. Signing out clears the shared environment list.
Environment links use repogo://environments/<deviceId>, with the opaque device ID percent-encoded as one path component. The destination query selects newChat, voice, chats, or apps; omitting it opens Chats.
Siri and Spotlight#
After RepoGo syncs your environments, you can search for an environment by name in Spotlight or use Open Environment in Shortcuts. Results show the same device SF Symbol as the app. Opening a result goes to that environment's Chats destination. Offline environments remain searchable. Removed environments are removed from search as the device list syncs, and signing out clears RepoGo's search index.
