Finding and Sorting Chats

RepoGo keeps your chats in one continuous inbox. The goal is to let you move through your complete chat history without choosing a page or deciding how many chats to load first, while still giving you control over how the list is organized.

As you scroll, RepoGo loads more chats automatically. New activity also updates the list in real time, so a chat can move to its correct position without you refreshing the drawer.

Choose how chats are sorted#

Open the sort control beside Chats to choose the order that matches how you work:

  • Recent activity puts chats with the latest activity first.
  • Created sorts by when each chat was started.
  • Your last message sorts by the last time you sent a message in each chat.
  • Title sorts chats alphabetically.

You can switch between ascending and descending order for any option. Your selection is remembered and follows you between the full inbox and a project's chat list, so you do not have to set it again every time you change views.

The resolved filter can show unresolved chats, resolved chats, or both. Sorting and filtering happen across the complete result set—not only the chats already visible on screen—so loading another group of rows does not scramble the list.

Browse every chat#

The main Chats list contains chats from every project in your account. Each row identifies its project, making this the fastest place to catch up on recent work across all of your environments.

Keep scrolling to load older or later chats according to the selected order. There is no page picker and no fixed visible-history limit.

Focus on one project#

To work within a single project:

  1. Open Projects in the left drawer.
  2. Choose the project you want.
  3. Browse or search the chat list shown for that project.

The project view uses the same infinite loading, sort order, and resolved filter as the main inbox, but every result is scoped to the selected project. Searching there only returns chats and matching messages from that project; it does not mix in results from another folder or environment.

Return to the main drawer level when you want to search or browse across all projects again. Going back changes the drawer's scope without closing the chat you are currently reading.

Search within the current scope#

Use the drawer's search field to find text from chat titles and messages. Search respects where you are:

  • From the main Chats list, it searches across your account.
  • From a project's chat list, it searches only that project.

Search results replace the browsing list while the query is active. Clear the search field to return to the same sorted list and project scope you were using before.

Live updates while you work#

Chat rows stay current while the drawer is open. Starting or finishing a turn, renaming a chat, resolving it, or sending another message updates the row and its position when the selected sort requires it.

RepoGo also repairs the list after the app or browser returns from the background. This keeps the inbox current even when an agent finished while the client was asleep or disconnected.
