Paste files in the iOS editor
Last updated: 2026-09-08
Press and hold a folder and choose Paste File to paste a copied file into it. Use the editor’s + menu to paste into the workspace root. RepoGo accepts accessible file URLs and document item providers, including PDFs. Provider documents are loaded before their bytes are written to the workspace; their suggested filenames are preserved when available. Use Import → Upload File in the root menu when the source app does not expose a supported document representation.
For copied text, choose the paste action and enter a filename to create a new file. If the destination filename is already in the editor’s file tree, RepoGo asks you to choose a different name.
Branded alerts confirm successful pastes and explain an empty or unsupported clipboard, an existing filename, or a failure. The paste action stays available with an empty clipboard so you can tap it for feedback.
To replace text in an existing file, press and hold the file, choose Paste Content, and confirm Replace. An alert confirms the result.
